3.4 Virtual LAN Routing Commands
This section describes the commands you use to view and configure VLAN routing
and to view VLAN routing status information.
3.4.1 vlan routing
This command creates routing on a VLAN. The <vlanid> value has a range from 1 to
4094.
Format
vlan routing <vlanid>

3.4.1.1 no vlan routing
This command deletes routing on a VLAN. The <vlanid> value has a range from 1 to
4094.
Format
no vlan routing <vlanid>
Mode VLAN Config
3.4.2 show ip vlan
This command displays the VLAN routing information for all VLANs with routing
enabled.

show ip vlan
Modes Privileged EXEC
User EXEC
MAC Address used by Routing VLANs Is the MAC Address associated with the
internalbridge-router interface (IBRI). The same MAC Address is
used by all VLAN routing interfaces. It will be displayed above the
per-VLAN information.
VLAN ID Is the identifier of the VLAN.
Logical Interface Shows the logical unit/slot/port associated with the VLAN routing
interface.
IP Address Displays the IP Address associated with this VLAN.
Subnet Mask Indicates the subnet mask that is associated with this VLAN.
3.5 Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol
Commands
This section describes the commands you use to view and configure Virtual Router
Redundancy Protocol (VRRP) and to view VRRP status information. VRRP helps
provide failover and load balancing when you configure two devices as a VRRP pair.
3.5.1 ip vrrp
In Global Config mode, this command enables the administrative mode of VRRP in
the router. In Interface Config mode, this command enables the VRRP protocol on an
